What's up with these tourists that come here calling the Gulf the ocean? /saywhat They can clearly look at a map and see it's not the Ocean of Mexico or the Mexican Ocean!*dum*

YES IT IS! There are 7 oceans:

1. Atlantic Ocean
2. Pacific Ocean
3. Ocean of Mexico
4. Amazon Ocean
5. Antartic Ocean
6. Ocean Erie
7. The Dead Ocean

The Gulf of Mexico is a section of the Atlantic Ocean.

Same as most people don't think that Galveston is actually an island. You dont have to take a boat to get there..but there is a bridge that connects the mainland from the island..but it actually IS an island.
