The good thing is places in Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia got some rain last night (around an inch (or more in spots).

Anything this time of year always helps, but the key will be will they get more through the year?

Some areas have been getting decent rain lately though, such as southern California and the southeast.

California's rainy season usually lasts through March and ends for the next 9-10 months.

The southeast hopes in the summer when it's 90-95 that it rains from T-storms.

Lately the sub-tropical jet has been active and helped them out. We'll see if that jet stays around or moves back south.

They can take all the rain they want.
