Yes there is a free version it comes with i think 17basic maps and some other stuff. Basic maps are the following SFC Temps,Surface Vis,Heat/wind index, SFC dew point,Sfc Humidity,Sfc wind speed,Pwats,300mb winds,SBCAPE,SBCINH,3hr accu precip,surface lifted index,Sea level pressure, 300mb wind barb,sfc wind barb
