If you were told tomorrow you had 3 days to live, what would you do? Besides spend as much possible time with the ones you love? Would you reflect back on your life? Would you regret things you had said? I would. With that being said (deep breath) I submit the following:
To anyone and everyone not specifically listed that I have offended, aggravated, hurt, slammed, flamed, betrayed a confidence, I am sorry.
To Chad, Marshall, Linda, Harry, VBHoutex-I am sorry for what I said not only on this board but as well as others, for taking part in a board war that solved nothing, for lashing out after being attacked, for doing or saying things you THINK I might have said but that I didn't, for destroying a friendship, for "letting you down" "disappointing you" "going behind your back". I am sorry you feel I have chosen the wrong side.
To Mike and Kevin and Sandy-I'm sorry I didn't fulfill my obligations of being a forum supervisor on this board when all hell broke loose. I'm sorry for my impatience at wanting things resolved. Kevin, I am particularly sorry for the slams I directed at you at other boards.
To those at Easternwx-I'm sorry I copied posts from that board and sent them to those that were banned at your board. There was no rule on your board that it couldn't be done and I felt it only right that those being accused of being degenerates were allowed to see the accusations.
This board war has accomplished nothing in my opinion, other than to further mark the lines of division among the boards. EACH board has it's own merits and it's own faults.
This is not meant as a kiss-up or anything else, merely done to state MY opinion and to make it known that I WILL NOT be party to any more of it. We all get angry, we all get hurt, we all fly off the handle. But as I sat outside and thought this morning, it saddened me that all of this had occurred, and that if it were ME with only a short time to live, I would regret all of the carnage I had caused. Yes, it was me who started all of this. It brought to light a serious problem. But I won't continue to drag it or anyone through the mud any longer. I have lost friends over this, which was my choice. I regret the loss but not my choice. Life goes on people and everyone wants their board to thrive. When people are so obsessed with the downfall of another board, it detracts from the success of their own board.
I don't expect any replies to this nor need any. Just stating that "I'm sorry" for the record and that I won't be sucked into the melee any more.
