The last hour's of winter are upon us for many, spring is coming. Tomorrow people will wake up with moderate to heavy snow falling, but by afternoon 50 F weather and rain will prevail. The cloud shield has not yet overspread our area, thus radiational cooling is at it's best. On Long Island low's will be somewhere in the upper 20's, and since the profile supports snow-it will snow. 1-2 inches seems to be the case, but once that sun rises and low level warming takes place, everything will melt and it will rain. Not a severe weather prospect though that comes Tues. To conclude-it's not going to be a significant snow event, at that don't expect it to fall lightly. Plan ahead.

Also, it will be a very convective event, thus adibatic laspe rates could cool temperatures into the upper 20's during the height of the storm. Watch out for this, it is being downplayed.

Look...the reason why I screwed this forecast up is because I listened to the ****tards over at Weather Wright. Honest to god all they post is prog's of the GFS, and then have arguments over 50 mile differences in run's. So ****ing annoying!!

And PLEASE dont try logging on with a proxied IP because this is a auto feature that will ban anyone trying to acess this forum using a proxy.
