the scoring is due to rights
the place where I got some games is closed
due to misuse of the games
alot of sites don't have rights to the games so they don't work properly
awhile back I looked to rectify the problem(when the site was still there)
and that is what I came up with
so alot of people complained about that game not working right
then got yelled at

someone actually owns the rights to "pong"? must be a rich muthaphucka by now...

i actually remember playing a version of pong when i was like 6 years old at my village's pool game room...it was the only "video" game and it fascinated everyone. it was a HUGE table top type set up with two chairs on opposite sides of the table and the only controllers were a push button (think star trek TOS technology-used to "serve") and a huge, almost palm-sized cylindrical disk (used for left-right movement). i think the game cost a quarter and i believe it was first to 11 to win...

and people LINED UP to play the winner as this was viewed as the greatest thing since sliced bread...
