HI all! I'm obviously new to HCW! Greetings from the Bayou! :bighug: I live in Houma, LA. I'm looking forward to getting to know the forum and all of you in it. A little about me....I'm, by far, no expert, just a lil more interested in weather than the average person. I've been a member of the WWLTV weather forum since Sept. 04 (Ivan). OMG, what have I gotten myself into?? Being a member of TWO weather forums!?! Does that officially make me a geek? Oh well, I am what I am. Aside from sitting in front of the computer, watching for the next potential storm threat....I am a single mommy of a beautiful 4 year old daughter. Once I get familiarized with this site, I'll post pics of the two of us. Well, I think I've gone on long enough. Typical Cajun girl....never knows when to hush up.

Glad you came to HCW. There are a few of us who try to know what we are doing lol. But this is a nice place to be to get some good info with charts, pics from the NHC. I'm not from La. but lived there for over a year and have a house there in NO on da westbank. And WWL and theneworleanschannel was my favorite channels there. But welcome aboard and join in. Peace
