Hi HCW, welcome. :welcome: I see you're from South Carolina. Well I live in Maryland, but just 2 weeks ago I was in Myrtle Beach on vacation and saw some really nice thunderstorms, especially at night over the ocean about 20-40 nautical miles offshore. Water temps were as high as 85 degrees at Springmaid Pier in Myrtle Beach and about 87 degrees on a buoy 65 nautical miles south of Myrtle Beach. Definitely some very warm water and some beautiful lightning storms down there too.
