This is a Pic of a cold front that just passed over my house moving south. My house is aiming SSW. It lowered the temp from 88 to 69 in about an hour, and even though i wanted relief from the hot weather, i was going out tonight and if its in the 60's and windy it will probably feel cold outside :ebd

wow thanks for all that reception guys! I live about 15 minutes south of Denver in Castle rock, colorado. Its about midway between Denver and Colorado springs.
This front was very unusual, something we see in the fall or spring, not in July, even though it wasnt as dramatic as those. I remember a few years ago one came through and it was a solid wall of rain, it was so amazing to see. i was in the begining of May. It was 75 outside and then you saw this huge wall move down the front range, the winds picked up, and when the front came through it hailed, rained, then snowed 4 inches or so. It cooled us off down into the 30's! But still, for July, this was very unusual. In fact, tomorrow we will only be in the mid 60's. A couple days ago, our LOW was warmer than that.

Wowie. Pretty dramatic! We get those here in Texas in the winter - you can see them coming for miles and they can drop the temps 50 degrees in minutes. No precip tho - just cold, wind and clouds.
There's nothing between Texas and the North Pole but barb wire.....
