I just signed on here and wanted to say hello. I never knew there were so many great weather sites on the Net. Recently, I peeked in to the forums on WWL-TV's (New Orleans) site, which is how I found HardcoreWeather. Got my eye on Earl! I look forward to future discussions.

My answer to that would be keeping my butt alive! :icon_lol: Actually, I have always been fascinated with weather, but around this time of year I look for information to keep updated on the tropics. At work, I'm considered the news and weather girl because I am constantly checking for weather updates and reading the news. They know I study the radar images and remain vigilant even if the storms are not coming our way. I live in the New Orleans Metro Area and work in the city, so we are always interested in the whereabouts of those storms knowing it is our turn. We're just waiting! I want to know which way to run, so any information I can uncover is helpful.

My son (age 12) and I love to watch Storm Stories on the Weather Channel as well. The wrath of Mother Nature can be quite fierce, yet fascinating all the same.

Thanks for the welcome and I'll probably be hanging out in the Earl thread for a while.
