FOLSOM, Calif. -- A funnel cloud was spotted Thursday afternoon as severe weather moved through eastern Sacramento County.A cell brought heavy rain to parts of Rancho Cordova and Folsom south of Highway 50 before moving into El Dorado County. The storm also left a dusting of hail on parts of Folsom.KCRA 3 Weather Plus meteorologist Mark Finan reported that the cell was the strongest between 4:20 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. Finan said the cell weakened as it moved east.While at least one well-defined funnel cloud was spotted, no tornadoes were formed.
