The Hydrometeorological Prediction Center is now archiving surface analysis weather maps for North America. The archive goes back to March 30 of this year and can be accessed through this link:

I am looking for Surface Weather Analysis archive - specifically for off the coast of Cape Hatteras North Carolina for October 15-21, 1991.
The archives here:
http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/html/sfc_archive.shtml
only go back a few years.
