The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) Norman, OK. has indicated a SLIGHT risk of severe thunderstorms over parts of SW…S CENTRAL…AND E CENTRAL TX…

SPC DAY 1 CONVECTIVE OUTLOOK


Based on information contained in today’s outlook, and 12Z Upper Air Soundings, the severe threat should be limited due to a slight inversion, with convection being of the elevated type in nature. The outlook does however indicate, as the day progresses toward evening, dryline storms could increase in coverage, with thermodynamics becoming a little more favorable for possible tornadic activity, through 12Z Wed.
