SEVERE WEATHER THREAT: TSTM
FIRE WEATHER OUTLOOK: NONE
TROPICAL STORM FORMATION: 0%
COASTAL STORM DEVELOPMENT: LOW
Good morning all!
The Storm Prediction Center (SPC), Norman OK., does not indicate any severe weather within today’s DAY 1 Outlook. However, based on analysis of Doppler Radar Composite Reflective loops and SRV (Storm Relative Velocity) loops out of Jackson, MS., a line of heavy thunderstorms is moving eastward, with what appears to be associated LEWP (Line Echo Wave Pattern). Analysis also revealed, at least to me, that a cell just east of Laurel, MS. has some rotation with it, albeit most likely a mesocyclone type feature. Based on my observations, I am not willing to rule out possible severe thunderstorm activity within the thunderstorm outline area, mainly MS/AL. Residents in the path of this line may have to deal with possible hail from some stronger cells, and possible straight line winds.
