    This Thread should help people looking for products that are weather related. Below is a list of programs you can purchase or use for free (Depending on the software). I just took the text from the websites to give you a idea about what they say about their software. I will edit this post from time to time, either to add, change, or remove the products.

    ROLL if you could please sticky this, you can edit it anyway you choose, took me about 10-15 mins. If you have any questions feel free to post it in this thread or pm me.

    GrLevelX Software: (Radar)

    GRLevel3 - GRLevel3 is a Windows viewer for live NEXRAD Level III data from the NWS Radar Product Central Collection Dissemination Service. (I suggest this for Storm Chasers)

    GR2Analyst - GRLevel2 Analyst Edition is an advanced Nexrad Level II analysis application. It features a high quality volumetric display and several high resolution reflectivity-derived graphical products in addition to the standard Level II data products. (Has great 3-D Images)

    Weather Chatting:

    IEMBot - IEMBot consists of two programs that run on the Iowa Mesonet server. The first is a parser that ingests text products issued by the NWS. The parser picks out the important information regarding the product and sends it via a Jabber instant message to the bot logged in on the chat server. The bot then routes the incoming message to a WFO chatroom from which the product was issued. The entire process takes much less than a second.

    Great Resources!! Thanks for the nice work, I know peolpe on HCW have been wanting to know how to get radar images that are a little more up to date that local Tv Staions Websites.

    Might want to add WxMesg to that list of weather warning/mapping software. Completely customizeable and the guy that built it lives in Alexander City, Alabama!

    I'm pondering on adding the Threat Net box back to my vehicle this year. I know that I had some issues keeping internet this year, and it is a good backup for me when I have no data. Low resolution radar is better than none. :)

    Baron MTN+ will give you connectivity no matter where you are....that's guaranteed. :)

    List needs a quick update. As I mentioned in another thread, Eye of the Storm 3000 is no longer being sold or supported. :(

    where is baron threatnet? I use it all the time when I chase. Im pretty sure its prestigious enough to be placed on the list.
