    I spotted this fire rainbow (circumhorizontal arc) from my backyard late yesterday.

    My Dad has a friend and former co-worker who wrote a book called "Kaleidoscope Sky". It has some amazing pictures similar to this in it, and explains the causes of them. I have only seen these fire rainbows once, and until reading that book, had no idea what caused them. I have the pics I took of it floating around somewhere still. I may upload them to here. It was an amazing sight!
