Finland gone crazy

Hey all. I've been lurking here since 2005 or something, but havent had anything creative to say since I happen to live in Finland.

For a reason or another weather over here has been pretty interesting lately. As you can read from the latest Dr. Jeff Masters blog, Russian heat wave has been insanely intense and Finland has had the opportunity to be a part of it, which means... storms:

Thunderstorm passing rapidly over Helsinki beach 8th of August

Same as above but with Zack Hemsey music :)

Thunderstorm hits city of Pori, 140 miles East from Helsinki. Sadly, the center of this one went over a music festival and 40 people got injured, two of them seriously. EDIT: unfortunately one 40 year old man got killed. 8th of August.

Storm hits a summer cottage 170 miles North from Helsinki. 7th of August.

Doomsday storm close to my place, 190 miles ENE from Helsinki. 4th of August.

I know you guys are in the middle of the hurricane season, so be safe.

Man, that first video is pretty frickin awesome. That gust front was moving. Good choice of music too.

The last two videos was pretty good too, that is about what it is like inside a hurricane.
