A purty little cloud today shot from the LBJ Student Center's 3rd floor at Texas State University. You might guess we got a little wind and rain after it passed over us.

Thanks!! We will take all the rain we can get! If August is any indication of things to come, I think it is easy to say we are back in our drought cycle.

I thought I got off lucky with just 4.66 inches of rain between 6am and 7pm yesterday here in the Medical Center in San Antonio.....that was until I got an addiitonal 5+ inches between 12am and 3am this morning. Just got done helping my neighbor drain/bail/siphon his side yard that has flooded only one other time in the 26 years he's owned the house. I know my 10 inch total pales in comparison to the folks NW of Austin, but this one is pretty close to 2002 in my books for the rainfall rate.

She gave about 1.5" of rain yesterday, but that is a fraction of what has fallen north of Austin.

I live just north of victoria in lavaca county. And that little purple spot is going to be light blue real fast. We are flooded in right now with more rain comming. It's crazy.
