Hello from Florida. I know absolutely nothing about weather but started lurking here a while ago. Got tired of the local news and either the lack of info on developing hurricanes or the over the top hysteria of doom. Really appreciate the experts and the facts here, without all the drama. Thank you.

Cindy - 1963 - First hurricane that I remember
Bonnie - 1986 - Watching all the transformers explode
Rita - 2005 - The sounds that I did not know my house could make & the roar
Humberto - 2007 - Got 2" of rain
Ike - 2008 - A long blow

Thank you for the welcome. Roll, I found this site a while ago while searching for someplace to get ALL the tropical info that was needed, not just what the tv stations in South or Central Florida think I need. The different opinions, interpretations and insights on this site are a lot more useful than the hype to get ratings when a storm is out there and I appreciate the info.
