Severe Thunderstorm in Central Florida

Eh, it wasn't all that bad but we did get about 5 minutes of pea to marble sized hail. That was very entertaining.

This is only the third time I've seen hail since we moved to Florida in 2004.

This is only the third time I've seen hail since we moved to Florida in 2004.

We lived in Orlando from 10/71 to 8/74 (on base at McCoy AFB) and never saw hail the whole time we were there. Saw many, many thunderstorms with mega-lightening, but never any hail.

We've had several big-time hail storms in the New Orleans area this spring. Again like in your area, very unusual for our area.
