I thought we were slightly busy with the couple of Svr Wx threats we had lately. Of course it was only a couple of us posting. Don't worry the spring season is about to kick off, followed by a busy cane season (I hope).

Wind hasn't had any posting all winter either, but do you see her talking about not opening up for an entire off-season? Things will pick up eventually Roll - tell him Wind!

Nothing new up, I was at work when a tornado hit Pearland. Kids' school was in a tornado warning, 2nd graders moved to an interior room and sheltered in place and the 4th graders in portable buildings did nothing....

4th graders must be consider expendable.

Roll - I've been trying to bring in HCW in Facebook, but
Facebook itself has been pretty frustrating

Now it looks like all Facebook users are going to be switched to the new Facebook "Timeline" format [which I don't like]

There are much fewer posts in the FB Weather Chatters group

That brings up the question of some of the weather chatter and other weather bloggers like Stormy

seems like for a while some were posting on HCW Blog, what's the scoop there?

In Pearland, 5th graders switch to middle school - so they are leaving the elemantary school anyways....

The kids did not realize what was going on, the warning was about an indicated possible tornado - which was on the ground 6 miles away. I am impressed with the weather service's accuracy.

The day that same system hit my area, my kids school decided practice tornado drills. So my son was disappointed that we did not have to spend the night in our bathtub due to lack of tornadoes. My boy was really worried when he got home from school.

Sorry, Roll. Still check in every day. No weather to talk about right now, and politics are so boring. Actually been super busy at work, too, with not alot of time to visit.

My kids had the same thing at their school. What jackholes teachers and school admin can be sometimes.
