Greetings from across the pond
Hi all - I've been lurking for a while, thought I'd come out in the open. I found you from the WWLTV forums during/after Katrina, so here I am. I'm originally from Chicago, living in London and never knew much about hurricanes until my mom moved to Florida last May 'to get away from the crap midwest weather'. So much for that! Will most likely continue lurking since I haven't got half the knowledge of you all but am fascinated by how these monsters develop...have tracked every one since last season, needless to say. Keep talking, I'll keep learning and maybe one of these days I'll actually have something to contribute :-)

I certainly don't have a Ph.D at the end of my name! lol...we also have "anything goes" forum for the juicy gossip when the weather conditions are slow! Thanks for peeking in and saying hi! I know how your mom feels about Florida - last year wasn't a good year to live here....
