We're in a gradual cool down. This morning was windy but by afternoon the sun was out and it was really pleasant.

I went across the street and liberated a few oranges from the grove. and also enjoyed the clouds that were zipping by.

Nice day and just another reason I'm glad I don't live in Massachusetts any more.

Witnessed one cloud to ground lightning strike ahead of the main squall line this evening at St. Pete Beach. A few more flashes of lightning joined the moderate rainfall that moved in after dark. Not raining here in Orlando yet, but forecast calls for Strong Thunderstorms.

We did have some thunder and lightning last night. It was quite a ways off in the distance though. After last week's deep freeze, I thought I was hallucinating when the sky started lighting up.

I was amazed at how brown the grass is throughout Central Florida right now...

No rain in 25 days. It's really krispie out there. For the first time in weeks there's at least a slim possibility of rain by mid week. I've got my fingers crossed. Getting tired of watering every night.
