I keep freakin' out on this model. Yesterday it had the thing turning out to sea. Today, it once again has a huge something hitting NC. Glad it's them and not me...not to be mean about it...but I don't want to go through another Rita scare. |

That was last night's evening model run of the GFS.... the last three runs, as well as the three before that...and the last few days of the Euro.... have had this thing going into the Gulf of Mexico.

There was a 'cane tracked to hit New Orleans last yr if I remember correctly 5 days out...and one forecaster said not to worry, because if there is one thing he said that always holds true...if it tracks right to you that far out, you won't get hit.
