Where to get spotter training Lafayette,LA
For those of you in South AL and NW FL, where did you go to take spotter training? Tallahassee offers it, even have online training, but they don't really cover my area and Mobile doesn't offer it at all.

Mobile does offer it but it seems like it is once every 2 years. The last class they had was in Stone County MS last month. I will shoot them an email and find out when they are going to have it at the USA campus or in Pensacola.

I just heard back from the Mr Beeler at the Mobile, NWS
Spotter training is offered at least a couple of times a year in Mobile county. In fact we have a class scheduled in January at the University of West Florida in Pensacola and another on January 31 at Fox 10 in Mobile. We do not encourage storm chasing in this area because most storms are rain wrapped.
