Hurricane regeneration question
Hello. Newbie weather person here. I have a quick question regarding tropical weather (hurricanes).
Lets say a storm becomes a hurricane and then gets weaker turns back into a depression and then splits apart. If one of its remnants restrengthens into a hurricane again does it regain its same original name or does it get a new name next in the alphabetical order? Can two remnants become 2 different storms/ hurricanes or is there just not enough energy for that? If so, do they get 2 different names or does it become (for example) "Fred A" and "Fred B"? Thank you for the info. |
