Probably a combination of gawkers (at Exit 30) and holiday traffic, but the westbound Bayway is at almost a complete standstill at Exit 35 westbound. Delays extend almost back to Loxley (Alabama 59) and westward beyond Exit 30. I have to go to Mobile today, but am gonna hold off for several hours...

Looks to me like the center of remnant LEE went due east from LA and is just north of Mobile, winds have shifted to northerly in the last hour or so.
