Sorry everyone. I know, no political debates. I just want to set my record that I was rolling my eyes about Obama lol. I think our government offices as a whole learned a whole lot from Katrina and I also think if it not for our national guard and state officials you guys would not have weathered Isaac in the best way that you did.

Once again, sorry for starting that with my comment and sorry Roll.

So anyway, back to Isaac. How much more bad weather is predicted for everyone as this thing goes north? I had hoped that it would just turn into rain dumped on Arkansas and Missouri where they need it desperately. Maybe he will get the show on the road and weaken and start heading north soon.

Thanks to all for this wonderful informative discussion we have had. I hope all have been safe and meteorologists have learned much from this crazy storm. So thankful the death toll has been low and my heart goes out to all that had to be in it's path and all in the next few days too.

Thanks Roll for having this site. It is invaluable.

Based on the current speed, what's y'all's best guess when that last line of storms will make its way north of the Mississippi Coast?

Lots of questions but no answers! I guess the best thing to do is watch and know that this storm has a history of:
1- being painfully slow
2- being very unpredictable
3- hydrophilic

So with that in mind, I predict Isaac will take two weeks to cross the US in a horseshoe shape and go down to south to exit through FL and meet up with TD 12 and form huge mega hurricane Isaac-Leslie.

It just weakens into a trough and gets pushed south by the cold front. My best guess.

Had a breakdown yesterday when I couldn't get on HCW. It was terrible! Started crying and feeling weak and my family didn't understand! Don't EVER do that to me again, Rolltide! :nono:

Now my two cents on Isaac: That was the most annoying, obnoxious, longest storm ever! Been hunkering down since Tuesday morning! Glad he's gone.
