If something plows through here again, you can bet people will be getting outta town. Dennis scared alot of people who stayed for Ivan when there were reports it could have been a Cat. 4 at landfall. I thought I never would be relieved to see a Cat. 3 make landfall here. At least seeing the aftermath of Opal and Ivan gave me a good idea of what to expect out of a three.

This is from one of our local mets in Houston. Rollie knows of him.

I need to alert everyone now that it may be another 3-5 days before we have a good idea where the this tropical system will eventually head. There may be a lot of fingernail munching for Southeast Texas for a few days.
