I think this is Florida's storm we have been lucky this year but i think our time has come. Look at all the cities affected this year. New Orleans, Mobile, Galveston, Biloxi, Pensacola these are all major gulf cities and one is missing Tampa, Fla god i hope it stays away but i have a bad vibe about it way to similar to Charley

I will agree with this to a point. Wilma WILL be a major factor. I beleive we will see a MAJOR hurricane out of her. Also the models are just now beginning at the 12Z runs began working with it since she was named. I beleive she will make it thru the Yukatan Channel into the GOM where the front will come by and pull her to the NNE making land fall somewhere from SW LA to W FL. The SST's are warm enough 29C to support a cat 4 before landfall with a cat 3 at landfall. The High is beginning to erode some. So stay tuned for the rest of the story.

Either way Tampa or North Florida - I am screwed. I will be in Niceville Friday - Saturday and then driving home Saturday afternoon....I better make sure my wind shield wipers are in good working condition as if Interstate 10 and Interstate 75 werent' bad under good weather conditions add a little rain and wind to the mix and you are screwed. Oh well. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do!
