literature on weather?
Hi there,
Can you recommend good and somewhat entertaining books about weather? Infotainment is the keyword here... I'd like something that gives me a detailed knowledge of weather phenomena and at the same time has some great interesting stories of the past which serve as examples; something like stories told from victims of severe weather. And of course with neat pictures. If that is not conformable I'd like to have a book of both. I've read "The great deluge" about Katrina is supposed to be good. |

My favorite: Isaac's Storm.
It's by Erik Larson and is about the Galveston hurricane of 1900. It's very entertaining literature, and is based on factual information. |

But the narrater doesn't seem to have an opinion or explanation for the occurences./thumbsdow Do you agree with that, or do you have a different feeling about it? |
