Personal weather station
What would be a decent, inexpensive weather station to buy for a noob hobbyist?

I am not in a hurricane zone, but I am in NE Ky, which gets interesting summer weather.

I have a Davis weather monitor 2 but it wasn't cheap

Personal weather station
I have a Oregon Scientific WMR968. Workes OK and you can sometimes get one for under $180 on ebay. Then all you need is a serial cabel and a copy of freewx(free) and you are all set. Don't get the WMR112 it won't connect to your computer.
